Let's get ready to RODEO! The event that has had Houston waiting all year has finally arrived! The biggest rodeo in the world has made its home in the heart of Houston. Hosting some of the best art, livestock and (we cannot stress this enough) fried food in the state. Whether it’s watching the biggest bull riding showdown in the country or the fan favorite mutton busting, there is something for all ages! Think it can’t get any better than that? Think again – this year, they’ve added a star-studded lineup of performers ranging from Chance The Rapper to Luke Bryan. Grab your boots and saddle up for the event of the season!

Giving us a new definition of hot wheels and fine art is the 32nd annual Art Car Parade. Strolling through the streets of downtown are 250 mobile masterpieces designed by local artists, designers, schools and nonprofits throughout the greater Houston area. With parades and fun nightlife surrounding the parade weekend, this creative car classic is a definite must-do.

The 15-mile river race has become a great way to not only exercise, but also to take the scenic route throughout our favorite city! The stunning scenery and crafts are paired with a stud selection of delicious food trucks and entertainment that will put anyone in the best of moods. How do the kids say it?
