Between weekly festivals, the start of baseball season, and the reopening of farmers markets, it’s time to blow away the winter gloom and take in everything that the city has to offer during springtime.

Art on the Mart, a free nightly visual light show on the side of the Merchandise Mart building, is back and better than ever for the spring and summer season. This year’s installations come from the Art Institute, Arts of Life, and the Adler Planetarium. You can catch the epic light show twice each night with accompanying audio located on the Chicago Riverwalk Jetty.

Pro Tip: Grab a bite before the show from the newest member of the RPM family, Pizzeria Portofino, right on the water! (Black Truffle Pizza and Cacio e Quattro Pepe highly encouraged).
