The other day, Tony-award winning performer, Laura Benanti, called for all high schoolers whose musicals were canceled to send her #SunshineSongs. Benanti wanted videos of high schoolers singing so she can repost them, giving them a bigger audience than they would have had in their hometown auditoriums.

Needless to say, the response was overwhelming from celebrities like Jennifer Garner to Lin Manuel-Miranda, who showed major support for this positive movement. #SunshineSongs has expanded to videos of not only high schoolers singing, but dress rehearsals of productions, and performers of all ages.

#SunshineSongs is a fresh breath of fresh air in the midst of panic. So head onto twitter, and bring some more light into your life no matter where you are in the world.
