- Raised over 100K throughout all six cities (almost 60K in NYC alone!).
- 1,500 meals have been delivered to over 20 hospitals.
In the coming weeks, we'll be servicing dozens of hospitals all over the country with more meals.
From applauding healthcare heroes to saving local businesses and their laid-off workers, Americans are banding together now more than ever.
Our Bucket Listers followers are individuals who love their cities and communities, and in turn, the people that make their cities so incredible. To use our voice and put our platform to good use during these challenging times, we have set up donation pages across the country to send meals to healthcare workers on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis – those who are sacrificing their time and health every day to fight this pandemic and save lives.
For every $1,000 raised, Bucket Listers will arrange a delivery order from a local restaurant to a local hospital.
With over $25,000 raised in New York City so far, our goal is to send delicious meals from local restaurants to hospital workers across the United States. On Sunday afternoon, we sent our first set of meals to the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
On Monday evening, the hospital heroes at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital received a special delivery from another set of heroes. Sasha Gomez, an FDNY firefighter reached out to our team to coordinate meals for hospital workers. With the help of his fellow firefighters and donations directly from our followers, we were able to deliver 100 BBQ platters from local NYC restaurant, Dallas BBQ.

Individals can donate any amount they feel comfortable with. Our team at Bucket Listers then coordinates directly with a hospital staff member for a safe drop-off at a convenient time. We pay full price to support a local restaurant, as well as a $100 tip to the delivery driver. While the end to this pandemic may seem uncertain, we're certain we can help share positivity and delicious meals for these deserving healthcare heroes.
