NYC's Ultimate Distanced Rooftop Guide

By New York Bucket List

20 places sure to elevate your rooftop game – six feet apart and six (or so) floors up.

Published August 26, 2020

NYC summers have always been dominated by 9PM sunsets and rooftop outings. While summer may look a little different in the Big Apple this year, our spritz soirées from sky-high flights persevere.

With new safety measures in place – and the same craft cocktails to match – ten of our favorite NYC rooftops have reopened, just in time for us to extend summer 2020. Because we could all use something good right now.

Restoration Hardware’s sixth-floor rooftop restaurant is in an [ivy] league of its own with ivy-draped ceilings, cascading lights and hanging chandeliers. And that's just considering the décor – its decadent menu of American classics is complemented with a robust wine list. Word on the street is the 2016 Château Saint Julian cabernet pairs nicely with spending $2,000 on an RH velvet burnt orange accent chair downstairs.
