  • October 1st: Two Chicago businesses–Revolution Brewing and Garrett Popcorn Shops–have come together to offer a brand new fall-flavored ale made with a whopping 450 pounds of caramel popcorn. The limited release, Caramel Crisp will hit shelves across the state on October 1st!

  • October 3rd-31st: Black Lagoon, an immersive Halloween pop-up experience brimming with dark Halloween-themed drinks will open its dark "dungeon of drink" in The Dandy Crown for a limited time.

  • Oct 6th-9th: As part of Esquire’s Visiting Chef Series, experience Chef Tyler Florence’s modern California cooking, with signature dishes including Caviar Donuts and Creme Fraiche Custard.

  • October 22nd: Drink hard cider and seasonal beers from over 30 breweries at tasting booths spread through Meadow Lake, Frost Hill and Conifer walking paths at the Arboretum.

  • Now open: Eat Spanish octopus and a potato “cloud” at the playful new restaurant Hide + Seek.

  • October 27: From the creators of the Michelin-starred Ever, comes After, an upscale cocktail bar and event space that looks like a galactic throne room, and serves rare spirits.

  • Now open: Join Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurant Joe’s Imports NFT membership program: a community of cyber enthusiasts and wine lovers alike for in-person and virtual experiences.
