Spring in NYC may feel brief, but it still brings a blossoming new social calendar, set amongst orchid shows, outdoor movie showings, art fairs, and more. Plus, now that we can shed our winter coats, there’s a range of outdoor sights to see and parks to bask in.
As usual with the city that never sleeps, the hardest part may be knowing what awesome thing to start with. For a hit list of springtime adventures New Yorker’s can enjoy, read on:
Taste, discover, and learn about more than 60 premium whiskey brands and cocktails– the best of Bourbon, American, Irish, Scotch, Rye, Single Malt, and more as part of the WhiskyX festival in Brooklyn! Cuisine will be available from Industry City's Food Hall and there will also be a cigar lounge, complimentary hair-and-beard trims, and, best of all, a live concert by Dawes. General admission tickets are available for entry at 7pm, but if you upgrade to VIP you get access to the event an hour earlier, plus a free cigar. Who will you take?

May we suggest the crowd pleasing Prospect Park? The massive 585-acre park offers plenty of space to picnic and you can grab any supplies you need from Prospect Provisions’ menu of artisanal sandwiches.

Our favorite digital and uber innovative art series is back with TRUST, an immersive exhibit exploring the “many meanings…of the concept of trust in a continuously evolving real time data experience.” Today’s world is filled with the blending of personal feelings and the internet like never before—and exploring that relationship is a fascinating and necessary deep dive for us all. Plus, the wall to wall kaleidoscope visuals.
