Two hours drive from San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, just beyond California’s iconic Wine Country, there is a place of pristine, untamed beauty. Mendocino County (or simply “Mendo” to the locals) is where the Pacific’s waves meet the giant Redwoods, and the hills come alive with the age-old industries that have sustained family farms in this region for generations: wine and cannabis.
Due to the changing needs of our world in 2020, we are proud to introduce our new, all-outdoor, flagship cannabis tour. Follow your guide on a self-driven adventure through beautiful Mendocino County!
Visit a working cannabis farm and wander among acres of sungrown cannabis plants! Meet the farmers and staff that run this legal cannabis farm. Learn about outdoor growing, greenhouse growing, light deprivation growing, and commercial nursery propagation including modern models of legal compliance and distribution in California’s emerging recreational market. Ask questions, take photos, and prepare to be amazed by the sheer scale of our partner farm.
This tour begins when you meet up with your guide in Hopland, CA. Once there, we can visit MendoCann, the local dispensary, make any mid-morning cannabis purchases you may desire. There are also multiple options for an outdoor lunch if restaurants are operating that day.
After lunch, jump in your vehicle and follow your guide just past Ukiah to Redwood Valley, where we will visit a licensed and fully operating Cannabis Farm. We will be met by a representative from our farm and mobile dispensary partner Emerald City. Non-driving guests may enjoy an afternoon of budtasting by the koi ponds on the grounds of this private property, and everyone can get a chance to make purchases of up to one ounce per person (California’s legal limit per day) at direct-to-you Mendocino farmer prices.
Once we finish there, if you want to explore Mendocino further, we have some options for the rest of the afternoon. This can be chosen from:
Our tour gathers at 10:30 AM in downtown Hopland, CA. All tour participants must be ages 21+ and must possess a valid form of government-issued photo ID with them to gain access to the locations we visit.
