FAQs

What type of shoes should I wear to Beach Cycle?
Beach Cycle uses pedals with SPD clips on one side and cages on the other. If you dont have your own SPD shoes come in a pair of running shoes and use the cages. Everyone is welcome to bring their own SPD shoes. WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHOES.

What should I expect from a Beach Cycle class?
Beach cycle is a 45 minute cycling class on the beach. Our classes are high intensity cardio, muscle-sculpting and strength training. Please arrive 20 minutes early for checkin, headphones, and setting up your bike.

What is the class schedule?

Class schedules vary by date and a link to view the full schedule will be provided after purchase. Class times include early mornings, afternoon, and evenings. Please note: 6:45 PM classes are not included in this offer.

What should I bring to Beach Cycle?
Please bring your running or SPD cycle shoes, water, towel, and a jacket if preferred.

How many calories will I burn?
It depends on your weight and the amount of exertion you use. On average, outdoor cyclists burn 500-700 calories.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 20 minutes before class starts. You will need to check in, get your headphones and set up your bike. We will answer any questions you may have.

How do I reserve a bike?
Reservations are required before attending a class. Directions on how to redeem and your redemption codes will be sent after purchase.

I am new to cycle classes. Will someone help me set up?
Absolutely! We ask that all new riders arrive no later than 20 minutes before their first class. We want to make sure we can show you around and get you set up properly for a safe ride.

I’m a beginner can I keep up?
Yes! We are here to push you, but we encourage you to listen to your body while you ride. If you are unable to do a certain move, don’t do it! If you need a break, take it! It is always a good idea to consult with a medical professional before starting a new workout routine. 

What if there is bad weather or a class is canceled?
If there is bad weather and we cancel the class we will notify you through email, and on our social media. Your class will automatically be credited back to your account. You will be able to re-book a bike for another class. There are no refunds for bad weather.
