Evening Jazz Cruise Aboard Manhattan

Step aboard the 1920s style yacht Manhattan and witness the city's beauty and elegance, while enjoying some festive live jazz!

On this cruise you may hear anything from jazz standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington, to new renditions of Motown songs, R&B grooves and hits from today!

  • Health and Safety modifications during the Covid Pandemic: Capacity limitations will follow the New York State guidelines, Facial Masks required, Large Private tables divided by plexiglass panes are assigned in the grand salon, newly installed MERV 13 HEPA filters.
  • Our Jazz Trio will be stationed outside the salon of Manhattan with our main salon doors wide open. Though the Main Salon is heated, plan for cool temperatures during our Fall/Winter/Spring Jazz Cruises due to the doors being open. Bring warm Coats, hats, gloves and a lap blanket. (We'll have plenty of warm beverages ready!)
  • Our amazing resident Live Jazz Trio for the past decade, "The Boat Band", performs Jazz Standards and covers throughout the cruise (Usually features a lead sax, keyboard and drums)
  • See all major lower Manhattan sites:
    (One World Trade Center, Financial District, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island)
  • One complimentary beer, wine, Champagne or soft drink is offered. Additional beverages are available for purchase.

Past meets present when sailing aboard the elegant and swift Schooner America 2.0. America 2.0 is designed after the famous Schooner America that was built in 1851 in New York harbor. That same year, America won the international race that is now known as the America's Cup, thus showcasing American skill in building fast, elegant, and efficient ships.

Jazz sail includes:

Let's Keep It Safe: 

- As of August 16th 2021, NYC will require guests to provide proof of vaccination for guests 12 and older in indoor settings. Accepted forms of proof include: the Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe App, a CDC Vaccination Card, or the NYC Vaccination Record. *Guests planning to board Schooner America 2.0 for the Live Jazz Sail will not be required to show proof of vaccination.
- Each guest over the age of 2 must have a facial mask when indoors. 
- Each crew member will don a facial mask.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available on each boat.
- Contactless transactions are enabled for ticket purchase, check-in, bar purchases and tipping.
- High-touch points of the yachts are sanitized between every sail.
- Guests and CHL crew will be turned away if they have apparent symptoms. 


FAQs

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK THE ENTIRE TIME?
When in our interior spaces, masks are required - covering both your nose and mouth, unless you are seated in your assigned zone and you are enjoying food or beverage. Masks are no longer required on our outdoor spaces.

HOW MUCH SPACE IS BETWEEN ME AND THE NEXT PERSON?
This will vary based on attendees. Do note that face masks are required by each guest in indoor areas, capacity is reduced to follow the current New York State Guidelines depending on the venue, and private "zones" or private "tables" will be designated.
