October 4th’s stellar lineup features acclaimed artists:

- Cindy Blackman Santana: Jazz fusion drum master – known from the bands of Carlos
- Santana and Lenny Kravitz – makes her long-overdue San Diego debut as the leader of her powerhouse quintet
- Magos Herrera “Aire” – Acclaimed Mexico City vocalist Magos Herrera with her NYCbased quartet, joined by San Diego’s Hausmann String Quartet, in a soaring celebration of Latin classics and originals.
- Gilbert Castellanos – San Diego Jazz Hero leads an all-star ensemble in a high-energy program of Latin and mainstream jazz classics
- Gerald Clayton – One of this generation’s acknowledged jazz piano greats presents the premiere of his own special tribute to original jazz composer, Jelly Roll Morton.
