Spend A Day Exploring Manhattan West, NYC's Newest Neighborhood

by New York Bucket List
They say location is king...and a location in the heart of Manhattan is a royal flush.
Okay, we say that, but Manhattan is truly quintessential NYC grandeur. Home of Central Park and iconic Empire State building, nightlife that never sleeps, world famous restaurants, unmatched financial and international career opportunities, the city has it all and more.
We're extremely excited to announce a new addition to NYC: Manhattan West! This new development by Brookfield Properties is rising to be NYC’s “newest destination for food, culture, retail, hospitality, and the modern workplace."

Located on 9th Avenue between 31st and 33rd streets (385 Ninth Avenue), Manhattan West will be smack dab in the middle of a world of experiences. Just a short ways away is world-class musical theater at the crux of Broadway and Times Square, eateries and artistic finds all through Chelsea Market, the NY Knicks and Rangers alternating at the Garden, and the tranquil High Line to take an aerial walk for your moment of zen. Plus you’re also right by Moynihan Train Hall and Penn Station, to reach any farther attractions you desire.
Manhattan West has so many attractions, in fact, we’ve rounded up some of the best offerings below:
Citizens New York: A Culinary Destination

This 40,000 sq. ft. culinary destination was created by award-winning designer David Rockwell and is being developed by Brookfield Properties at Manhattan West. It is opening this fall.
Citizens NY will be a food and drink emporium, with a mecca of beloved vendors, ranging from Cindy Lou’s Cookies to Umami Burger to Plant Nation. It’s a “this place has everything” kind of place, making it a future go-to spot for work lunch, happy hour drinks (with full service bars on deck), coffee and pastry dates, late night sushi, and everything else.
