A community favorite for Brooklynites, the Lefrak center in Prospect Park offers two outdoor ice rinks. You're welcome to ice skate, but check their schedule for special programming like figure skating, curling, broomball, and ice hockey. Grab a hot drink or a bite to eat at the Bluestone Cafe close by.

Riverbank State Park Ice Rink | Manhattan
If you’re looking for a spot with fewer tourists and crowds, check out Riverbank State Park Ice Rink. Located above the banks of the Hudson River in upper Manhattan, this ice rink offers ice hockey and figure skating clubs in the winter along with general admission skating sessions.

Ice Rink at the Seaport | Manhattan
Open daily beginning November 22, skate where the city meets the stars at Seaport. The Ice Rink has returned for a season of winter festivities, and Pier 17 has been transformed with an ice rink and a winter lights art installation spanning the entire overhead of the rink that is inspired by the beauty and wonder of the Northern Lights. The Ice Rink at the Seaport offers free admission skating along the East River with its new location on Seaport Square between Piers 16 & 17.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center | Manhattan
Few things are more iconic than ice skating in NYC beneath the dazzling Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Get one-time tickets for an afternoon or evening out, or sign up for a membership and skate all season long.
Pro Tip: Tickets are often cheaper, and crowds are thinner if you go in November, February, and March.

Wollman Rink | Manhattan
Located in southeast Central Park, the Wollman Rink has been a winter staple in NYC for 70+ years. Glide across the ice with the Manhattan skyline and Central Park as your backdrop. When you're ready for a break, hit the Wollman Cafe for warm fresh food, grab-n-go items, vegan options, a coffee bar, and favorites for kids. Available for free skate, skating lessons, and private events.
This year, Wollman Rink is emphasizing accessibility and will offer free and discounted entry throughout the season. Come on opening day for free skating, on-ice performances, chef demos, mini-lessons, ice sculpture carving, and more. A handful of other free admission days will be offered for specific groups including veterans on November 11, teachers on January 16, public sector employees on February 20, and first responders and essential workers on March 11.
Finally, the Wollman Rink Access Program (WRAP), offers discounted pricing to increase accessibility to the rink. WRAP tickets are $14 and include admission, skates, and hot cocoa. They are available to purchase in-person at the box office during public skating hours on a first-come, first-served basis, for guests presenting an IDNYC or New York Public Library card.

The Rink at Bryant Park | Manhattan
The centerpiece of Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, this spot is also the only ice skating rink in NYC where admission is completely free. Just pay for skate rentals and hot cocoa!

IC Industry City | Brooklyn
Along the scenic waterfront at Sunset Park, lies Industry City. The IC Ice Rink opens up in the colder months, and guests can enjoy skating in the heart of Brooklyn’s creative hub. Skate under the stars and warm up by the fire pits with festive cocktails from IC's Brewers + Distillers. Plus, enjoy post-skate indoor activities like billiards, vintage arcade games, and NYC's first petanque court at Carreau Club. This rink is uncovered and outside, so be sure to bundle up!
