by Los Angeles Bucket List
Los Angeles is notorious for its shopping β Pretty Womanβs Rodeo Drive scene is Oscar-worthy as a standalone. Itβs praised for its health-conscious food offering β hello, homeplace of Trader Joeβs. And itβs recognized for its vast art scene β if you havenβt taken a photo in front of the LACMA lights, do you really live in LA? While those hotspots may come to mind β yes, I just referred to Trader Joeβs as a hotspot, sue me β LA is also home to markets combining all three and more. Whether youβre looking to update (or backdate) your wardrobe or feng shui your home, weβve rounded up 10 of our favorite LA marketplaces that will definitely help you hit that 10,000 step goal.

Starting in 1934, The Original Farmersβ Market can also be coined the oldest farmersβ market in LA. Its vast size makes it a little challenging to conquer in just one day, but thankfully itβs open daily from 9am to 9pm. Sometimes, you want to go to a farmersβ market at 2pm on a Wednesday. And you know what? You do you.

Rose Bowl Flea Market

One of the most iconic markets, albeit overwhelming, is the Rose Bowl Flea Market. With over 2,500 vendors each month, this market is not for the indecisive. In this case, with roughly 20,000 thrifties flocking to the Rose Bowl Stadium once a month, the early bird will most likely get the worm. And by worm, we mean oversized, overdyed, up-cycled, lightly-distressed denim jacket....for example.
