HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’ Reboot Needs Extras to Appear in Season 2
The beloved series spin-off will cast New Yorkers as extras in its newest season. Here’s how you can apply.

It’s been over a year since And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City reboot, premiered on HBO Max, and fans of the iconic series were thrilled to see (most of) the girls back together again. No official dates for season two have been announced yet, but we do know it’s expected to premiere later this year.
New Yorkers, however, have the unique opportunity to get an up-close look at season two. The HBO production team is on the hunt for extras to appear in a “private jewelry party” scene in Manhattan. If you’re lucky enough to land a spot, you’ll receive $165 for your time, plus $60 for taking a COVID test.
The casting team is calling specifically for New Yorkers between ages 20 and 50 with a “chic, fashion-forward cosmopolitan look.” All genders and ethnicities are welcome to apply. If you think you fit the bill—and brushing shoulders with SJP in a swanky party setting sounds appealing—here’s how you can throw your name in the ring.
Send a few recent selfies or photos to [email protected]. Include “Jewelry Event Attendee Submission” in the subject line, and include the following in your email:
- Name
- Age
- Phone number
- Union status
- Confirmation of valid ID
Good luck...we'll be looking for you in season 2!
