MIAMI'S ULTIMATE LIGHT FESTIVAL RETURNS

Luminosa transforms 13 acres of jungle into an illuminated wonderland filled with towering lanterns, dazzling art, and breathtaking moments at every turn.

The 2025 edition of Luminosa at Jungle Island transforms Miami into a glowing journey through the world’s most mystical landscapes. Inspired by the Amazon, the African savannah, Ancient Egypt, and the Frozen Kingdom, the design blends cultural legends, natural wonders, and fantasy into an unforgettable illuminated experience.

Guests pass under a parrot archway, encounter a 43-foot Chinese dragon, wander through the Jaguar’s Temple, and marvel at glowing baobab trees and playful capybara lanterns. They then step into ancient worlds of pharaohs and sphinxes, interactive savannahs alive with zebras and elephants, and finally, a shimmering Frozen Kingdom crowned by polar bears beneath the aurora. 

The artistic lantern scenes will illuminate Jungle Island with more than 160 tons of steel, 200,000 feet of silk-like fabric, 58,000 LED bulbs, and 720,000 feet of LED light strips. The final design features more than 37 monumental, handcrafted lamp scenes created by over 200 people from around the world, including Chinese artists, graphic global designers, welders, and seamstresses.

LEKTRIK ART is the IAAPA Design&production first prize winner.

Handcrafted by over 200 global artisans using steel, silk, and nearly a million LED lights, the design is more than spectacle.
