About the event:

The paint and resin workshop will run approximately 3 hours and costs $195 per person. BYOB / snacks if desired!

What you get: a 12x12 or 11x14-sized piece of art. The size is dependent on the image that you select to paint. Prior to the workshop your instructor, Sarah, will reach out to request an image of what you would like to paint. You can simply google an image, or use an image of your own to send to her. Sarah can also provide you with a list of ideas if you need help deciding! Sarah will draw and cut out your image from a thin piece of wood, which is what you will be painting during the workshop. You will also get to spray paint your wood panel/background color and add resin to the entire piece of art once the paint has dried. Sarah is there to assist with painting if needed and show you how to use materials throughout the entire workshop! Please be sure to select images that are suitable for your painting skills. And keep in mind when selecting your image, that we will have about an hour-1 1/2 hours to paint the first part!

The art resin used in this class is non-toxic and contains non-hazardous materials. It is safe to use as instructed. 

If you are sensitive to paint fumes, feel free to bring a face mask covering. Acrylic paint has no fumes, but you may decide you'd like one for when we do spray paint outside or when using the resin!

Artworks do need 24 hours to dry, specifically the resin, so the artwork does need to be collected at a later date, which we will discuss at the workshop.
