Immediately after their formation in 2018, TVT started uploading self-produced demos on SoundCloud which ultimately saw over 3 million streams while their self-made music video scored over a million views, securing the band a passionate following even before any official release was announced.

After much anticipation, the band officially debuted in 2021 with a self-titled album "The Volunteers" which was met with both public and critical acclaim, winning the band three nominations at the prestigious Korean Music Awards.
