July hit us like the summer monsoon we didn’t know was coming. With 2021 flying by, it’s time to load up on as much fun as possible during these prime summer months. Luckily at Bucket Listers we follow fun, so we’ve curated a list of our favorite NYC events this month to ensure you’re starting off the latter half of 2021 with a bang. 🎆

Shakespeare in the Park

Shakespeare in the Park is a theater company committed to bringing Shakespeaer’s plays to life at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Each summer, the company puts on two performances, with one being a tribute to the beloved, thematic author.

4th of July Block Party 


If you’re skipping the shore this 4th, head on down to the 4th of July Block Party presented by Project 91 with food, drinks, live music, and fireworks over the water.

Winefolded: Wine Tasting in the Dark


They say when you lose one sense your others become stronger, so why not put that theory to the test with Winefolded: a unique blindfolded wine tasting experience hosted at Le Bar. Explore four different wines and cheeses from different regions across the world - no vision, no problem.

Dinner & Sailing Series Aboard The Ventura 


Sail the seven seas (Hudson River), on the exclusive 101 year old yacht, the Ventura. This two and a half hour sail includes closeup views of the Statue of Liberty, a curated six-course meal executed by Chef Scott Edwards, and drink pairings.

Margarita and Tequila Classes with Mexicue

Believe it or not, there’s a lot more to tequila than shots and next morning’s regrets. Bucket Listers is thrilled to partner with Mexicue this July for a lesson on tequila, which teaches guests how to mix, stir, customize, and sip four different types of margaritas.

Long Island Winery Tour from New York City

Need a Big Apple break? Wine not. We’re currently partnering with three of Long Island’s famous North Fork region wineries. Each trip includes a tasting at every winery, lunch, a friendly SA guide, and transportation to and from the city. Most days, guests will visit Sparkling Pointe or Raphael before continuing to The Lenz Winery, and Osprey’s Dominion.

National Ice Cream Day at the Museum of Ice Cream

We’ve got something sweet on the list - the Museum of Ice Cream is celebrating National Ice Cream Day on July 21st with a new Bucket Listers exclusive package featuring the one (and only) thing we love more than ice cream – cocktails. From a dessert feast suspended by floating balloons in the Oh Yeah Room, to the Rainbow Tunnel which tributes the city’s history of gay pride, celebrate all things sugar at the Museum of Ice Cream.

Seamore's Oyster Shucking & Wine Workshop

Every party needs an oyster aficionado, and that aficionado is you! Seamore’s and Bucket Listers are banding together to bring the sea to the streets of NYC with Oyster Shucking & Wine Pairing in Midtown. The 1.5 hour class will teach you the ins and outs of oyster shucking and includes four types of local oysters, four wine pairings, and one complimentary glass at the end. The event also partners with the Billion Oyster Project, with all shells recycled and restored back to New York Harbor.

Pitch Black: Dining in the Dark

Who here is afraid of the dark? Dining in the Dark immerses guests in a world of darkness while they dine, so they can focus their heightened senses on taste, smell, and conversation. Guests will enjoy a secret 90 minute meal, designed specifically by the chefs for this unique experience. Tickets include one complimentary drink with the option to purchase more throughout the meal.

The Other Art Fair

The Other Art Fair presented by Saatchi Art is returning to Brooklyn this July. Time to access more than 100 emerging artists, with over a thousand best-selling artworks, and a variety of creative activities and mind-blowing art installations.

Skyline Drive-In

What do you do when the view is better than the actual movie? While we can’t help you with that, we can recommend Skyline Drive-In, an outdoor movie event with killer views of Manhattan. With classics and newer blockbusters playing all summer, Skyline is bound to have something for everyone and even offers outdoor tickets for those who want the experience but don’t have a car.

Happy-Go-Lucky Exhibit NYC

Sunnyhues Entertainment is back with its wildly popular, high-tech art exhibition, the Happy-Go-Lucky Exhibit. The exhibit uses multimedia like lighting and projection, turning ordinary spaces into sensory masterpieces.

Bottomless Brunch at Miss Lily's

While bottomless brunch is a year-round fiesta, bottomless bellinis scream summer which is why Miss Lily's is a must. For $45, spend two hours drinking and dining on classics with a Jamacian twist like world famous jerk chicken and Jamacian rancheros.

Pop-Up Paint & Sip

What do you get when you mix wine, paint, and a live DJ? Maybe not the best artwork, but hey, it’s the effort that counts. Join us for a paint & sip kind of night, where you can sit back, relax, and let your artistic abilities shine.

Moonlight Yoga at Rooftop Reds

A winery in the midst of all the city’s chaos - we’d argue that’s something every major metropolitan needs. Rooftop Reds is the world’s first commercially viable rooftop vineyard, located in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard. They host a range of summer events, from moonlight yoga, wine tours and tastings every Wednesday, and movie nights.
