The post-Y2K “roarin’ 20s” vibes are flowing at Our/New York Bar— the first distillery to open in Manhattan since prohibition. 

This elevated cocktail bar lies in the heart of Chelsea. It’s homey interior with persian rugs, glowing copper and neon walls make it a cool place to kickback and enjoy the star of it all: exceptionally smooth vodka that’s distilled in-house.

Premium ingredients make can’t-miss cocktails

Our/New York Bar is also known for their Brooklyn-grown basil infused vodka, which is bottled and sold on site. The unique liquor is found in many of their artisanal cocktails at the bar. Our/Highline, for example, is made with their basil vodka, cucumber, lime, yuzu sake and fire water bitters—and a dollar of each purchase goes to Rethink Food, a non-profit reducing food insecurity. (So really: drink for the cause.) 

The bar menu is ever evolving, with high quality classics and seasonal specials. A can’t-miss drink is their ​​”Our Brooklyn Bridge'' cocktail. It’s ingredient list even features Mike’s Hot Honey, along with Our/New York Vodka, St. Agrestis amaro, Bitter Hearts Club bitters, vanilla liqueur, Goslings ginger beer, and nutmeg. It’s topped with a branded orange rind.

Patrons can tour the distillery digs and taste their 80 proof and—for the brave—100 proof vodkas for the full experience. The top shelf vodka uses a proprietary winter wheat distillate to create a remarkably smooth and clean taste, with floral notes to finish. 

Plus, they sell this magic concoction in their highly shareable 375ml bottles, sealed with trendy chrome caps.

Our/New York Bar pours Our/New York Vodka from their own small-batch micro-distillery, which makes spirits inspired by the New Yorkers it serves. They even use NYC’s famous (filtered) tap water—the same water as the pizza and bagels—so you know it's exceptional.
