Boo at the Zoo is Back in Philly for Three Weekends in October

Come for the animals, stay for the treats. 🎃🐒

by Philadelphia Bucket List

Fall in Philly is here, and with it comes the Philadelphia Zoo’s annual Boo at the Zoo.

The Halloween Extravaganza is slated to kick off on Saturday, October 15th and guests can participate every Saturday and Sunday through October 30th.

Come dressed in costume and trick-or-treat your way through the 42 acres of wildlife, exhibits, and attractions, and find ghoulish treats and activities for the whole family along the way.

This year visitors can expect more traditional fall fun, including a hay maze, seasonal decor, and plenty of photo ops.

Don’t miss the pumpkins sprinkled throughout the exhibits—the monkeys love to play with them, and they make a great snack for hippos!

Boo at the Zoo will take place during the zoo’s regular operating hours, from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm.

The event is free for members, and is included with the price of admission for non-members. Advance online reservations are required.

Where: 3400 W Girard Ave
