About the event:
Become fully immersed in the world of graffiti in this creative and fun date idea. Enjoy personalized instruction for you and your partner as you learn how to master a spray can. The talented artist instructor will help you create your own graffiti art that will transform into a masterpiece. The date takes place in our beautiful Brooklyn art studio in the heart of Bushwick to make for a terrific vibe for your night out.
Cultivating creative thought and a welcoming environment, this experience is designed for people of all ages and talent levels. Leave this workshop with a greater understanding of this still misunderstood craft, and take your new work of art home (canvas sold seperately).
Date Options: There are three Date Night Options:
- For 125$ you work with our artist to create a mural graffiti on our studio walls
- For 175$ you create your graffiti on a large canvas to take home
- For 250$ you create your graffiti on a large canvas plus you can bring in sweatshirts to decorate or we provide you with individual canvases to create. Also if you would like in this option you can add 30 minutes to the experience.
- For 450$ and above we can set up a graffiti proposal where you can propose to your Partner in our studio.
Meeting Location: The graffiti lesson is one hour long and takes place at our Brooklyn Art Studio. Meet at 282 Meserole st. in Bushwick Brooklyn. The closest subway stop is the Montrose L Train stop.
What It Includes: We supply paint, canvas (sold seperately), gloves, private studio time, and of course, a NYC graffiti artist.
What to Bring: Wear casual clothes (nothing you would regret getting paint on). The paint does come off for the most part, but it gives everyone less anxiety if you don’t wear a gown or a tux. Please be prepared to wait 15 minutes after the workshop finishes to let your artwork dry before you pack it up.
Proposals: The typical proposal format is as follows. You would come do the graffiti class with your partner. While you are doing the class, your friend will decorate the lobby (our studio is on the second floor) and on your way out you will surprise your partner with the news with your friends and family in tow.
