Adopt a duck. Try your luck. Win a prize! Support the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois on August 7 at the annual Chicago Ducky Derby. The event features a festival at Pioneer Court starting at 10:00 AM with family-friendly activities, music, food, and entertainment. Then, watch as thousands of rubber ducks splash down into the Chicago River from Columbus Drive Bridge at 1:00 PM and race to the finish. Cheer for your favorite or adopt your own (starting at $10) for the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a brand-new car, cash, and a theme park experience.
By adopting a duck, you support athletes with intellectual disabilities in Illinois, helping to fund year-round programs and services.
