About the event:

Join our expert docents to learn about Chicago's world-famous architecture, as well as the history of our boat with Chicago and its Fire Department.

Our boat also serves as a floating museum showcasing photographs of the boat in action, firefighting artifacts, and giving a glimpse of what it was like to be a firefighter stationed on the boat. We'll see how Chicago’s landscape along the river has developed over time, going from stockyards to steakhouses, bringing millions of tourists to a once desolated area that is now thriving.

Our guided lake and river historical tours depart from DuSable Harbor at 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm and are underway for 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the schedule of the Chicago locks.

Sunset Cruise:

🗓️Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
⏰Times vary throughout the year as the sunset times change, usually between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Our sunset cruises will surely be an unforgettable evening for your and your guests. We depart the dock about 45 minutes prior to sunset, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink at the bar, find a seat, and take in one of the most spectacular views in Chicago, watching the sunset behind the skyline.

Paul Strolia Live Music Sunset Cruise:

About the event:
Grab your friends and join us on the Fireboat for our monthly Paul Strolia Sunset Cruise! We'll have plenty of drinks on board, plus live music from Paul Strolia.

Boarding and music begin at 6:00 pm, the boat leaves at 6:30, and we'll take in those gorgeous city views from the lake & river before returning to the dock at 9:00 pm.
