About the event:

Butch McGuire's is generally recognized as Chicago's first Christmas bar, and perhaps the first in the nation, with a tradition of over-decorating that goes back to 1961. Every December lines stretch around the block, party inquiries and reservations are all pushed to after New Year's, and it is difficult to get into this gem of a tavern in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast.
