About the event:
In the mood for dinner and a movie? But you don’t want to be indoors on a beautiful summer evening? Well…you can enjoy a delicious meal, see a good movie and do it all outside. There’s even wine, too!
As its name implies, Rooftop Reds is the city’s only rooftop vineyard. Located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Rooftop Reds began in 2016 when its team decided it was time that the neighborhood had its own vineyard.

What you will experience
Since urban settings are not your common location for a vineyard, the Rooftop Reds team needed some help to realize their dream. They turned to the experts at Cornell University who helped them develop the innovative urban planter system that now covers 14,800 square feet of their rooftop.
