Activities & Events

Art, Culture & Museums

February 23–25: Have you seen the Field of Light installation yet? Seventeen thousand color-changing glowing lights are on display at Freedom Plaza on Manhattan’s East Side. The exhibit is free to visit, but tickets are required.

February 23: Admission to The Whitney is free from 5–10 pm! It includes free access to exhibitions, special programming, views, and more. Space is limited, though, so make sure to reserve your spot online.

All Week: Explore Harry Potter™: The Exhibition and adventure through iconic Wizarding World moments as you uncover interactive elements, authentic props and costumes, and photo ops around every corner.

All Week: There's a new public art installation downtown featuring a dazzling domino-themed light-and-music show. See "Domino Effect" on display at Fosun Plaza in front of 28 Liberty St. through March 6.

All week: A new exhibit at the NYPL is open, featuring the relationship between Langston Hughes and his friend and contemporary Griff Davis. The exhibit examines the work and rise of Black artists and creatives of their time.
