A Magical "Back to Hogwarts" Harry Potter Pop-Up Will Take Over Grand Central Station
The Hogwarts Express will roll into NYC's Grand Central Station this September. 🚂🪄

By New York Bucket List
For the first time ever, US fans are invited to a special "Back to Hogwarts" pop-up event in the stunning Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The magical event has been an annual tradition in the UK, with fans flocking to Kings Cross Station in London to celebrate the start of a new year at everyone's favorite school for witchcraft and wizardry.
This year, however, US-based fans can participate in the festivities. The event—which is free to the public—will run daily from August 30th to September 1st and offer a variety of enchanting activities and experiences for Harry Potter enthusiasts, including magical performances, LEGO building activities, and an interactive Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions fan experience, where you'll be able to soar to glory with an amazing new videogame inspired by the beloved wizarding sport.
Additionally, fans can explore displays from Scholastic and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, indulge in a glass of Butterbeer, and see a state-of-the-art digital representation of the iconic Hogwarts Express. One of the event's highlights will be a live countdown at 11:00 AM on September 1st. Fans wishing to attend the countdown will need a free ticket, and more details on registration will be announced soon.
The Wizarding World website has more information on Back to Hogwarts Day and other ways to celebrate, including movie screenings, games, trivia, and more.
Can't wait? You can also visit Harry Potter: The Exhibition in NYC's Herald Square all month long and see authentic props and costumes, interactive exhibits, photo ops, and more! Pro-Tip: Grab special discounted tickets here!
