The ultimate guide to the hottest festivals coming to Miami in 2023, organized by month.

Miami is famous for its balmy weather, world-class beaches, unique art scene, and epic parties, making it a great location for all sorts of festivals. Whether you're looking for this year's hottest music performances, want to see and experience eclectic art and fashion, or are interested in sampling some of the nation's finest brews and spirits, Miami has a festival for you.

We've rounded up all the big events and festivals coming to Miami in 2023, from We Belong Here in February to Miami Beach Pride in April to Art Basel in December. Find the list below (and keep it handy), so you don't miss out on any of the fun.

 

The Ultimate Guide to Every Miami Festival in 2023

March

March 1–7: Winter Party Festival
Winter Party Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of music, dance, and community, produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force to raise critical funds for the LGBTQ movement. Events include pool parties, live DJ performances, beach parties, and more.

March 2: WhiskyX Miami
Enjoy the best of Bourbon, American, Irish, Scotch, Rye, Single Malt, and more, plus fill up on cuisine from the best food trucks in the city. There will also be a cigar lounge, complimentary hair-and-beard trims, and, best of all, a musical host.

March 3–12: 40th Annual Miami Film Festival
The Festival showcases the work of the world’s best emerging and established filmmakers to the diverse, cosmopolitan community of Miami, with over 100 feature narratives, documentaries, and short films of all genres from 40 different countries.

March 4–5: Carnaval on the Mile
Enjoy two days of fun in the heart of Coral Gables featuring the best local art, live music, fine cuisine, and children’s entertainment. Entrance is FREE and open to the public!

March 5: 305 Day
March 5 is the unofficial holiday honoring Miami. 305 day (named for the city’s area code) aims to unite the community through food, music, art, and more.

March 11–12: Jazz in the Gardens
A celebration of Black music and culture in Florida, Jazz in the Gardens goes way beyond jazz. This year’s lineup has an emphasis on soul and will feature top artists from a variety of genres, including R&B, hip-hop, and more.

March 12: Calle Ocho Music Festival
One of the biggest events of Carnival, the Calle Ocho Music festival, is the world’s largest Latin music festival in the nation. Stroll through 15 street blocks of Little Havana filled with musical stages, international food, sampling sites, folkloric dances, and entertainment.

March 24: Ultra Music Festival
Come dance, party, and discover new and upcoming musicians with the Miami skyline as the backdrop at the world’s premier EDM music celebration.

March 26: Deering Seafood Festival
Experience fresh seafood, chef demos, live entertainment, and kid’s activities at the 17th Annual Deering Seafood Festival, hosted at the Deering Estate.

 

April

April 1–16: 15th Annual Miami Beach Pride
Miami Beach Pride is one of the largest Pride festivals in the country. Expect a schedule packed with exciting events culminating in the free festival and parade on April 15 and 16.

 

May
 

May 28–June 2: Miami Fashion Week
This event goes beyond the runway generating a mix between fashion, beauty, music, art, charity, latest trends, gastronomy, luxury, and lifestyle. The 2023 lineup of events has not been released yet.

 

June
 

June 14–18: American Black Film Festival
An experience like no other, the American Black Film Festival brings together Black culture enthusiasts, executives, and content creators from around the world for five days of screenings, talk events, exclusive parties, and high-powered networking.

 

July

July 21–23: Rolling Loud Miami
See some of the biggest stars in hip-hop at this annual music festival held at Hard Rock Stadium. The event lineup is TBD, so check back closer to the event for more details!

 

October

October 7–8: Miami Carnival
The biggest celebration of Caribbean culture in the US, and one of the biggest in the world, returns in October, showcasing events and parades complete with Masquerader bands, steel drum bands, calypso/soca bands, and more.

October 20–21: III Points
III Points Festival is a music, art, and technology festival in the heart of Miami's art district boasting cutting-edge technology, immersive environments, a stellar lineup of musicians, and an oasis of art and culture.

 

December

December 7–9: Art Basel
Considered the most comprehensive international contemporary art fair in North America, Art Basel showcases work by the masters as well as a new generation of emerging stars. It’s one of the most anticipated events of the year and the parties and celebrations surrounding it are not to be missed.

 

January

January 21–22: A Festival of Chocolate
Taste your way through chocolate confections, desserts galore and even savory bites; all while enjoying live pairing activities, classes, and demos at the annual Chocolate Festival at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

 

February

February 11: The 4th Miami Rum Congress
Come celebrate rum in all its forms at a boutique-style event that will showcase a handful of brands that emphasize the education and premiumization of the rum category.

February 11: Carnaval Miami
This epic annual festival beginning on February 11 and running through April 8, is a celebration of colors, music, and flavors. With captivating events that showcase the best of art, music, fashion, food, and sports, there’s truly something for everyone at Carnaval Miami.

February 18–20: Coconut Grove Arts Festival
This three-day outdoor festival focuses on art in all forms, including visual displays, culinary demonstrations, and live performances.

February 23–26: South Beach Wine & Food Festival
This national, star-studded, four-day event showcases the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.

February 25–26: We Belong Here Music Festival
We Belong Here Miami 2023 is a reimagined, beach-club-inspired festival where music, food, fashion, and art collide for a sophisticated experience like none other. Enjoy revolutionary 360 stage and lighting, premium food and beverage options, magnificent scenery and ocean views, plus much more!
