NYC’s First Ever Vegan Night Market Comes to Central Park
Come for the food, stay for the fun. 🌮🥤
by New York Bucket List
New York City is no stranger to street fests and night markets. From Queens to the Bronx and Harlem to Prospect Park, you can find a selection of curated foodie events offering unique local fare. This year, you can add another one to the list. The city’s first first-ever Vegan Night Market recently opened for the summer, and you can check it out for yourself every Tuesday through October.
Centrally located at Wollman Rink (where the pickleball courts are now), the new Vegan Night Market will offer a bustling food scene, weekly performances, community activities, and more. Set against the backdrop of Central Park, you can grab your plant-based burger, taco, or sushi and follow it up with a stroll along nearby Gapstow Bridge or a ride on the carousel.
Everything at the Vegan Night Market will be plant-powered with a focus on sustainability and ethical living. From mouth-watering street food to vegan ice cream, desserts, and refreshing beverages, there;s something for everyone. Whether you're a committed vegan, an adventurous foodie, or just curious to try more plant-based treats, the Vegan Night Market is not to be missed.
The Vegan Night Market is free to attend and will run every Tuesday evening from 4 pm to 10 pm through October. You can find it at Wollman Rink, near 59th Street and Fifth Avenue.
