Summer in New York is hard to beat. Yes, it’s hot and humid, but all the street festivals, outdoor movies, days on the water, and performances in the parks make up for it. Little Island, the stunning park on the Hudson, is planning another series of outdoor concerts this summer, and every performance is free to attend.

From June to September, visitors to the park can enjoy a diverse lineup of musicians and performers, from Tony and Grammy Award winners to late-night DJs and dance parties. See the lineup and what to expect below!

 

What to Know About Little Island’s 2023 Summer Concert Series

When:
This year's concert series kicks off on June 14 and runs through September 3, with performances and events every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Most concerts are scheduled between 7 and 9 pm, but check the specific event for details.

Where:
Little Island is located at Pier 55, between 13th and 14th Street in Hudson River Park. Performances will either take place in The Glade, an intimate stage for 200 visitors, or The Play Ground, an open plaza and gathering space. Check the specific event for details.

Admission:
All events are free—no reservations or tickets required!

What to Expect:
The park features a lush, seasonal landscape with rolling hills, walking paths, open lawns, and dazzling views of New York City. Food and drink is available for purchase inside the park and can be enjoyed on the lawns or at tables and chairs throughout the park. You’re also welcome to bring your own food to enjoy, but no outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.
