There’s no shortage of amazing happy hours in the City of Angels — to the point where it can be a little overwhelming trying to pick the perfect bar or restaurant for your post-work drinks. To help you out with that, we’ve rounded up Los Angeles’ top happy hour spots!
While we do our best to keep this list updated, rates and menu items are subject to change. Check each location's website for the most up-to-date offerings.
The Brickyard Pub
North Hollywood
This is the only place on our list that doesn’t serve food, but their extensive beer list and fun atmosphere more than make up for it. With pool tables, tabletop shuffleboard, dart boards, and a photo booth, there’s plenty to keep you busy while you enjoy buy-two-get-one-free drinks.

Nighthawk Breakfast Bar
Venice
This moody spot may be famous for its boozy french toast and other breakfast-meets-late-night concoctions, but their happy hour menu is nothing to scoff at! They have three kinds of sliders for $4, intriguing dishes like hot cheetos chicken fingers for $6, and some very exciting mixed drinks (like their liquid gushers beverage) for just $9.

Upstairs at the Ace Hotel
Downtown
There’s no better place to take in views of the city on a budget! Nestled at the top of the luxe Ace Hotel in downtown, Upstairs offers $3 chips and salsa, $7 bartender’s choice cocktails, $6 house wine and a $5 beer of the day. Oh, and did we mention there’s a pool?

This prohibition-style bar will make you feel like you’re stepping back in time — but the food and drinks scream modern! Happy hour eats include stuffed burrata, market crudo, and elevated cocktails that will make you feel a little extra fancy.

Silverlake
Home has one of the coolest patios for outdoor dining in the city, and its food is next-level, too. Try their mac n’ cheese bites or mango habanero wings for $8 — either one is great alongside their legendary $8 Silverlake mule.

Silverlake
If you’re looking for a fun, casual spot to hang with friends after work, look no further than 33 Taps. If you’re lucky, you might catch a round of trivia or some live music, but if you go during happy hour, you’re definitely going to catch some great deals on their burgers and pitchers.

The Edmon offers one of the more upscale happy hours in the city. From 5pm to 7pm every day they’re open, you can sample their duck confit tacos, short rib poutine, and oysters for a discount, along with some of their tastiest beverages.

This unassuming spot in Burbank has a cool vibe and something you don’t often see as part of happy hour: bottomless mimosas! For just $25, you can chug as many of their 10 delicious mimosas as your heart desires. They also have an extensive happy hour menu of food including $10 handcrafted sandwiches and six wings of your choice for $6!

Downtown
Public School may be cafeteria-themed, but their food is anything but basic. If you stop by during their “recess” hours, you can try their amazing bites — like bacon cheddar tots, truffle mac n’ cheese, and PB&J sliders — for under $10. While you’re there, try the Study Hall cocktail!
