Everything to Know About the 2022 Union Square Holiday Market

Temperatures are dropping, ice rinks are opening, and New Yorkers are drinking hot coffee again. The holiday season is coming, and with it comes the return of New York's holiday markets. This year, a brand new holiday market will debut in Brooklyn, and beloved favorites like the Winter Village at Bryant Park and the Union Square Market will return.
Named one of the best holiday markets in the United States, this popular event welcomes 150+ vendors featuring unique gifts, treasures, and treats created by local makers and artists. Not to mention live music, activities, and food and drink options from some of New York’s best restaurants and merchants.
Set to launch one week before Thanksgiving on November 17th, the Union Square Holiday Market will be open seven days a week and will run through December 24th. Here’s everything you need to know, including some of the vendors and attractions you won’t want to miss.
When and Where

When:
November 17th–December 24th
Weekday Hours: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday Hours: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday Hours: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Closed on November 25th for Thanksgiving, and on December 24th at 4:00 pm.

Attractions
Access to the Union Square dog run will be available for use, as well as Evelyn’s Playground, so feel free to bring the whole gang with you when you visit. Back this year is the city’s largest Greenmarket for plenty of fresh produce, herbs, greenery, and florals, along with a lineup of entertainment and performances throughout the season.
